Brendon is a Director of Certus Financial Group and a financial adviser. He has 22 years experience working in the New Zealand market specialising in Investments, Retirement Planning,  KiwiSaver and Superannuation. Brendon is proud to provide quality tailored financial advice to his clients ensuring they reach their Wealth Management and Retirement goals.

Brendon holds a Bachelor in Business majoring in Marketing Management,  Graduate Diploma in Business (Personal Financial Planning), NZQA National Certificate Level 5- Financial Services and maintains current practicing certificates through regular  professional development training courses.

Brendon has been married for 15 years and has 3 daughters. He enjoys being involved in his children’s school as a member of the school’s Board of Trustees.  Brendon also loves sports in particular Football (Soccer), Running and coaching kids sport in his local east Auckland community.

Chloe Robertson

Chloe is a financial adviser with eight years experience in the financial industry and comes from a  family of financial advisers. She has recently won “Emerging Adviser of the Year” award  and  nominated for the “Investment Adviser of the Year” at AMP.

Chloe gained her Bcom from The University of Canterbury and also holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies majoring in financial planning.

Her area of expertise are  Investments, KiwiSaver, Personal and General Insurance.  She loves helping her clients achieve financial independence and reach their financial goals through education and quality advice.

Chloe is married with one beautiful daughter, Edeline, and has a dog named Elvis. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and spending time with her family. She loves to cook and worked for 5 years on super yachts throughout the Mediterranean as a chef for the rich and famous.

Mike Dalley

Mike was previously a Director of Certus Financial Group and now operates as a Satellite Adviser under the group. He started in the life insurance industry back in 1985 and has also worked offshore in London and Edinburgh. He specialises in Personal & Group Life and Health Insurances and more recently extended his services to assist with Car, House, & Contents Insurances.

Mike holds a National Certificate in Financial Services Certificate (level 5) and maintains current practicing certificates through regular training- essential in keeping up to date with the industry and legislative changes.  He has previously held managerial positions in the sports retail industry, and at Certus Financial Group since 2009.

A family man and keen sportsman, Mike spends a lot of his spare energy caring for his family and occasionally getting out on the water with his wife when time permits.

Peter Hannaford

Peter has been in the insurance industry his entire working life, all with AMP & Certus. He started out as a clerk at AMP Auckland straight from school and was later appointed as an Office Manager at AMP Rotorua.

He then moved on to Assistant Sales Manager AMP Lower Hutt, before taking over the insurance business of a retiring Auckland AMP Adviser. It was an invaluable start to his advising career.  That was 1984 and he is still finding the work extremely rewarding!

His area of expertise is general insurance for Domestic and Business Insurance needs.  Peter also does Life Insurance work for clients who have existing AMP life insurance policies.

What Peter loves about his job is being of service when clients’ needs change and to watch them grow and prosper. If misfortune should happen, he finds satisfaction in seeing insurance at work benefiting his customers and knows without his input, the outcome for clients or their families may not have been so good. “It’s hugely rewarding to have a large number of career–long clients too,” Peter says. Some of them he has looked after for over 30 years and many have become personal friends.

Peter is qualified as a Senior Associate of the Australia & NZ Institute of Insurance & Finance (awarded Hon. Life Member). Back in the days of his insurance exams, he won a couple of NZ insurance industry prizes for first-place exam results. This expertise and attention to detail, his clients continue to benefit from every day, which why he loves what he does.

Peter has been involved in motor racing since his teens- he was a rally driver and then a rally navigator at both regional and national levels, navigating to win a regional title.  These days he still thoroughly enjoys his motor racing, driving in a classic circuit race series in his authentic 1980’s historic Group A, Fiat race car.  “It’s far more competitive than you might think!” Peter says with a wry smile.

James is a financial adviser offering clients more than 20 years’ experience. His area of expertise is General Insurance, home, contents and motor, as well as Business Insurance, Risk insurance, life, trauma, and income protection; Health insurance and Lending/Mortgage insurance.

He loves helping people achieve their financial goals, protecting the precious possessions and achieving financial independence.

James has a Diploma of Business and National certificate / Financial services. Importantly, he keeps up to date with current practicing certificates through regular training and industry and registration changes.

He is a family man and is keen on tennis, swimming and bush walking.

As an experienced financial adviser with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry, Peter loves working with his clients to guide them to have the right insurance at the right time for the right reason.  His areas of focus are Life, Trauma and Income covers along with Health & Business insurance and Retirement Planning.

Peter started his working life with AMP in 1973 and became a financial adviser in 1990 and graduated with a Diploma in Business majoring in Financial Planning and Services from Massey University.  Peter is a a member of Financial Advice New Zealand, an financial adviser and qualified Toastmaster.

Having more than 40 years experience and a keen interest in ongoing education  gives Peter a thorough and up to date understanding of the industry and the products available to his clients. Peter’s personal experience claiming on the client side of health, trauma and income insurance gives him a strong sense of empathy for client’s experience and a full knowledge of the claims process.
